Tips for success
Consider a graduate degree
A graduate degree will help you take advantage of the highest paying opportunities, as well as the roles with the most leadership and responsibility.
Know the application process
Start early! Securing a position in a government agency involves a rigorous application and interview process that can take up to a year. Have your fingerprint clearance card ready ahead of time to assist this process.
Uphold the law
A misdemeanor or felony on your record can disqualify you from many government positions. To ensure you have a chance at employment, keep your record clean.
