A privately held, family-owned and-operated Forbes 500 company, Shamrock is an innovator in the food industry and has been since its founding in Arizona in 1922. Shamrock specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of food and food-related products through a family of companies, including Shamrock Foods – the largest independent foodservice distributor in the West, and Shamrock Farms – one of the largest family-owned and-operated dairies nationwide.

Company Highlights

Shamrock Students is an 11-week professional internship program where undergraduate and graduate students can gain professional experience in a variety of fields.Interns have an enormous impact on Shamrock every summer, and nearly 40% of graduating students earn full-time offers after completing the program. Over the past three years, 51% of our interns were hired or received extensions allowing students to take their career to the next level. Beyond hands-on departmental experience, Shamrock Students participate in volunteer events, mentorship opportunities, cross-functional projects, connecting with industry leaders, and more.
