Job Description: Self-motivated, independent, fashion-savvy intern with excellent writing and analytics skills to absorb the daily routine of Fashion Index communications needed to engage with users/followers on the Fashion Index corporate social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok). Begin and follow up with conversations in comments about the post, following the corporate social media strategy. This includes interacting (liking posts, commenting, following, and unfollowing relevant accounts) with customers and other stakeholders via the corporate social media accounts. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. This role will involve one-on-one working sessions with founder Tirsa Parrish. This is an unpaid position. The candidate will work directly with the founders and will gain hands-on experience in running a startup web platform. You will draw on your existing skill sets while we help you fine-tune your skills and grow in your interest field. This is an unpaid position. This unpaid Internship provides credit for current university students following your university’s guidelines. Qualifications: Working towards a Fashion, Marketing, and/or Merchandising degree. Candidates with other relevant majors will be considered. We strongly encourage those who are looking to become Social Media influencers and/or people preparing to work in PR to apply for this role. All relevant majors will be considered.

Responsibilities: • Assist with social media outreach across platforms • Like, comment, follow/unfollow relevant posts and accounts • Help maintain and update lists • Participate in artwork, caption, tag, and hashtag review • Research digital news media • Assist individuals and businesses listing on Fashion Index • Analyze Social Media data weekly • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Proficient in Canva and Google Workspace
Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok Content
Pay: Unpaid, for College/Academic Credit. This requires a concurrent internship class.
Job Duration: About 15 weeks
Schedule: Minimum of three days/week, Meeting Wed 12 pm EST, otherwise flexible. At least 10 hours/week or 150 hours total, meeting the requirements of your college/university and Fashion Index
