We are the biomedical device fabrication group in the electrical engineering and Radiology department at the Michigan State University. We are looking for motivated PhD students or postdoctoral associates who want to learn the invention process for compact and batteryless wireless physiological sensors. In our group, students will have opportunities to work at the interface between electrical engineering, neuroscience and biomedical imaging. Candidates with background in electromagnetism, semiconductor device fabrication, radio-frequency circuitry, optoelectronics, electrochemistry or image signal processing are encouraged to apply. Whatever background originally from, students will obtain multi-disciplinary skillsets during graduate study, gaining competitive advantage to solve practical engineering problems along future career pathway.

Candidates with suitable background will be provided with tuition waiver and a competitive stipend to complete their research work. Both domestic and international candidates (on visas) are welcome to apply. For more details, please send inquiries to qianchu1@msu.edu.
