We are looking for an ambitious and web-savvy intern college senior and recent graduate student with Social Media & Marketing who is passionate about our company to join our Marketing team in New York. As the Social Media & Marketing Intern you will have the opportunity to learn the inner workings of a company focused on websites. This internship will include learning about ad targeting, social media metrics, collateral creation and more. All interns receive hands-on mentoring and training.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
-Support the day-to-day management of company and company clients’ social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
-Generate content for and update company and client social media profiles
Assist with marketing plan reporting and data entry
• Digital marketing strategy
• Social media content strategy, editorial design & publishing
• Community management
– Develop engaging content and manage social media content
– Add content, stylize, publish electronic newsletters
– Provide creative brainstorming ideas for Social Media
– Create videos using editing software/apps
Requirements:
– Have excellent verbal written communication skills
– Be detailed oriented, proactive and take initiative
– Must have knowledge and strong interest in social media marketing
– Experience with WordPress and Mailchimp
– Experience with social media sites, specifically Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (additional knowledge of other channels a plus)
– Understand the purpose of social media for businesses
– Understand proper use of Microsoft Office and Excel
– Have strong organizational skills
– Photoshop and graphic design experience is Huge PLUS
– Degree or currently majoring in: Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Marketing, Advertising, or similar background
– Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and work independently at times.
Assist with company’s accounting and maintaining company financial records
Participate in the preparation and distribution of client invoices
Research new market trends with relevant and actionable insight
Support the management team on projects
Assist with client management and general CRM upkeep
Assist in creating sales/ marketing reports and various collateral (client presentations, proposals, etc.)
Assist in editing documents and drafting proposals
Support and perform system acceptance testing on various web sites and test pages to ensure they are functioning correctly before going live
Create and maintain an Excel sheet that documents all test tasks and results across browser platforms
Occasional administrative duties
Experience about video production and editing A+
Capability to learn new skills in a short time
Creative mindset, passionate about brainstorming with others
Well-organized, knowing the importance of details

We are looking for an ambitious and web-savvy intern college senior or recent graduate with online marketing and operations for starting for 5-6 months DOE internship. This is an unpaid internship, we are more than willing to fill out any paperwork necessary to provide school credit. Full Time hours available, 40 hrs/wk, M-F or Part Time minimum hours 24-32 hrs/wk,. We nurture an environment where team members help each other and learn from each other.
