The Association of Latino Professionals for America was established in 1972 as the first-ever national Latino professional organization. Since its establishment over 45 years ago, ALPFA has grown to serve over 92,000+ professional and student members with more than 200 chapters nationwide. ALPFA at ASU was originally established in 2007 as an Accounting and Finance organization, and now serves as a Latino professional organization committed to the professional development of its members. ALFPA at ASU bridges the gap between the professional and the scholastic by hosting workshops with professional firms from the Phoenix Metropolitan area and beyond. The goal of these workshops is to provide professional perspective to our members while creating networking opportunities for both the firm and students. Students of any year, major, and racial/ethnic backgrounds are welcome to our organization.
