The purpose of this organization shall be to create a student support group that contributes to the recruitment, retention and success of students interested in construction by providing services such as: networking opportunities within construction and related industries, internship opportunities, mentorships, study groups, book banks, financial support such as scholarships, grants, emergency funding, and book stipends, practical & technical training and experience through various hands on workshops and/or projects, volunteer opportunities to give back to Indian communities, philanthropic endeavors, guest speakers discussing topics specific to “Nation Building” in Indian country to enlighten both Native and non-Native students regarding the needs of Indian communities and processes and procedures specific and unique to developing and building in Indian country. Our goal is to guide the development of students to become valuable, ethical, professional contributors to the construction industry and to building our Indian communities through trust, leadership, experience, knowledge, quality of work, and purpose.
